All participants in the Lifeguard Class must be at least 15 years old. On the first day, you will be expected to swim 300 yards face in water (12 lengths, varying between front crawl and breaststroke), as well as retrieve a diving brick from the deep end using a feet-first surface dive then swim 20 yards with the brick. You must be able to swim with your head and eyes in the water without goggles. If you cannot complete this, you cannot continue the class.

On Saturday, Dec. 15 and Saturday, Dec. 22, we will eat lunch during class. Please plan to bring a lunch. We have a refrigerator and microwave.
