But Black Hawk College employees, students and supporters exceeded that goal by more than $1,400.

The BHC East United Way Fall 2022 Employee Campaign raised a total of $11,435.50.

The donation was from a combination of events – the on-campus Stampede Auction of Champion Pumpkins ($8,325), Tanner’s donuts sales, employee payroll deductions, and straight donations from employees and community members.

“The Black Hawk East family worked hard to make it happen for our communities,” said campaign chair Amy Snyder.

“We’re proud to be a small campus making a big impact,” she said.
