Congratulations to the Black Hawk College Livestock Judging Team for winning both the freshman and sophomore divisions at the Illinois Jr. College Livestock Judging Contest at Tree Lane Farms in El Paso, IL!
In the sophomore division, BHC teams took 1st, 2nd and 4th Overall. In the freshman division, BHC teams took 1st, 4th and 6th Overall.
BHC sophomore teams also took 1st, 2nd and 4th in Cattle, Reasons and Swine and 1st, 2nd and 5th in Sheep & Goats.
BHC freshman teams came in 1st, 2nd and 4th in Cattle; 1st, 4th and 7th in Reasons; 2nd, 4th and 7th in Sheep & Goats; and 1st, 3rd and 7th in Swine.
Out of 45 competitors, BHC sophomores individually won all of the Top 10 Overall spots. Out of 46 competitors, BHC freshmen individually won five of the Top 10 Overall spots.
