Black Hawk College offers Adult Education GED® and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at no cost to students who qualify.
GED® students can acquire basic academic skills that will assist them in transitioning to employment, training and postsecondary education.
ESL students can learn basic English skills that are necessary to survive and function in American society.
GED® and ESL classes will begin Monday, Aug. 17 through a combination of online and in-person instruction.
Students first must register and take a test to determine their reading levels. All registration and testing must be done in-person and is by appointment only.
