The Phi Theta Kappa chapter at the Quad-Cities Campus recently presented the Golden Apple Award to two faculty members.

During the honor society’s Nov. 24 induction ceremony, the Golden Apple Award was given to:

  • Dr. Seref Onder, criminal justice instructor – nominated by Alexia Ramirez
  • Linda Steele, adjunct ESL instructor – nominated by Blaise Kinto

Phi Theta Kappa members were asked to recommend a well-deserving faculty or staff member for the award. The chapter’s officer team selected Onder and Steele from the nominations. Both received a Golden Apple pin and a gift.

The chapter thanks the PTK students who nominated faculty and staff members for this award and congratulates Onder and Steele for being recognized by their students as excellent educators.
