Black Hawk College is collaborating with Arizona State University to offer guaranteed admission to ASU and ASU Online.
The Guaranteed Program for Admission – Illinois guarantees admittance and the program of student’s choice* upon successfully meeting one of the following:
- A transfer associate degree with a minimum cumulative transfer GPA of 2.50.
OR
- A completed IAI General Education Core Curriculum, with a minimum cumulative transfer GPA of 2.50 plus either a final high school transcript or GED.
OR
- Completion of at least 24 transferable semester credits with a minimum cumulative transfer GPA of 3.00 plus either a final high school transcript or GED.
Students must transfer and enroll in ASU or ASU Online courses within two years of signing up for the Guaranteed Program for Admission.
About ASU and ASU Online: Arizona State University is a top-ranked research university in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. ASU Online began in 2009 and now delivers 85 undergraduate bachelor majors with the majority 100% online including majors not typically found online or at the undergraduate level, i.e. electrical engineering (ABET accredited), digital photography and urban planning. ASU and its online degrees are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Many academic programs also carry specialized accreditations. In Fall 2017, 103,000 students attended ASU with about 30,000 of them studying online.
