Congratulations to the Black Hawk College Soil Judging Team for winning 1st place at the American Society of Agronomy (ASA) 2019 Region 3 Collegiate Soils Contest in Stevens Point, WI.
BHC team members competed against students from two-year schools Eastern Oklahoma State College and Vincennes University.
Six students also placed in the Top 10 individually.
They are:

- Sophia Short – 3rd
- Kyle Hunter – 4th
- Brendan Shaw– 5th
- Drake McDonough – 10th (tie)
