Congratulations to the Black Hawk College men’s golf team for winning the 2019 NJCAA Region IV Championship! This marks the fourth straight year the team has claimed this title and the 15th in the past 21 years.
The Braves’ team score was 959. The next closest team was 976.
Individual golfers’ results were:
- 2nd Place – Gabe Beardsley (Alleman High School, Rock Island, IL)
- 7th Place – Mick Haverland (Geneseo H.S., Geneseo, IL)
- 8th Place – Peyton Perez (Richwoods H.S., Peoria, IL)
- 14th Place – Ethan Earl (Sherrard H.S., Sherrard, IL)
The fifth member of the team is Gannon Haskins (Riverdale H.S., Port Byron, IL).
