Ribbon cut on new equine facilities at East Campus

people standing in stables behind yellow ribbonMore than 100 people – and 60 horses – attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house Aug. 22 to celebrate the new equine facilities at the East Campus.

The additions and renovations build upon the college’s nationally recognized equine program.

Improvements include:

  • 20,000-square-foot addition for equine studies
  • 94 horse stalls, a 36% increase
  • 7,400-square-foot practice arena
  • New and renovated facilities for agriculture and equine programs and community events
