Dozens of students, employees and members of the community gathered Aug. 29 in the new courtyard at the Quad-Cities Campus to celebrate the Building 1 addition and renovation.
The $17.8 million project began in March 2017 with renovations to the Enrollment Services, Financial Aid and Bursar’s offices.
Ground was broken in March 2018 for the 20,000-square-foot, two-story addition that includes new, larger classrooms and an open, 5,000-square-foot courtyard between the addition and the existing building.
In total, the project included 68,000 square feet of renovations over three floors, including 29 offices, 23 classrooms and a new HVAC system, LED lighting and fire suppression system.
