BHC students elect Joshua Worten new student trustee

BHC student trustee Joshua WortenJoshua Worten of Lake Butler, FL, recently was elected by his peers to be the student representative on the Black Hawk College Board of Trustees for 2019-20. He was seated at the board’s April 25, 2019, meeting and will serve until April 2020.

Worten attends the college’s East Campus near Kewanee and is pursuing an associate in science degree with an emphasis in pre-veterinary animal science.

He is a member of the college’s Horse Judging Team, Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association Equestrian Team, Ag Ambassadors program and LIFT (Living in Faith Together). He also actively participates in the Student Government Association.
