Quad City’s Vintage Rods car club recently donated $3,000 to the Black Hawk College Quad-Cities Foundation for student scholarships.

Since 1984, Quad City’s Vintage Rods car club has given more than $79,000 to the QC Foundation and has donated to the college for more consecutive years than any other organization.
The donation was generated by gate admissions to the group’s Sept. 30 car show at the college’s Quad-Cities Campus.
The donation supports the Vintage Rods scholarship, which is available to Quad-Cities Campus students with excellent academic performance. Seven BHC students received a Vintage Rods scholarship for 2018-19.
