Congratulations to highway construction grads

Black Hawk College congratulates the recent graduates of the Highway Construction Careers Training Program (HCCTP).

In back, from left to right, are Jowari Enuenwosu of Galesburg, Dillon Newby of Rock Island, Kenneth Pollard of LeClaire, Timothy Elliott of Atkinson, and Danelle Person of Abingdon.

Three students had perfect attendance for the 13-week program – William Ehret, Timothy Elliott and Jowari Enuenwosu.

The 450-hour program aims to increase the number of minorities, women and disadvantaged individuals working on Illinois Department of Transportation highway construction projects. There is no cost to participants who are accepted into the program.
