Black Hawk College’s two United Way campaigns raised more than $32,000 this fall.
The Black Hawk College Quad-Cities United Way campaign was the most successful in recent history, raising more than $20,500 for the United Way of the Quad Cities Area. Contributions from employees at the college’s Quad-Cities locations increased by more than $3,800 from 2012.

The Black Hawk College East Campus United Way campaign completed its best-ever fundraising campaign for the Kewanee Area United Way, generating an $11,730 contribution. This is the 19th consecutive year that the East Campus college community has increased its giving.
United Way is important to the Black Hawk College community because it encompasses the college’s seven core values – appreciation of diversity, caring and compassion, fairness, honesty, integrity, respect and responsibility.
