BHC Quad-Cities Campus Thanksgiving Celebration raises money for United Way

Check out the photos!

Quad-Cities Campus students and employees showed their generosity Nov. 20 at the annual Thanksgiving Celebration sponsored by the Student Life Office and United Way.

A silent auction and cash donations raised nearly $700 for the United Way of the Quad Cities Area.

The majority of the silent auction items were donated by Black Hawk College employees.

As of Thanksgiving, the QC United Way campaign has raised more than $16,800.

A message from Dr. Baynum:

As you know, the QC Campus Black Hawk College United Way campaign is officially underway. If you have not returned your pledge form, please do so soon.

Please consider making a donation this year. Whether your pledge is large or small, every dollar puts us one step closer to our goal.

LIVE UNITED. It’s a simple phrase with a complex meaning. It’s about working together to make our community better. It’s about helping others. And it’s about giving.
