TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) makes the transition smoother by offering one-on-one academic and career advising as well as workshops on managing your time efficiently, getting along with instructors, financing your education, planning your four-year degree and beyond, and many other topics. All services are free to eligible students.
Eligible students include first-generation college students (neither parent earned a four-year degree, and you haven’t received a two-year or four-year degree) and income-eligible students (as determined by federal guidelines), as well as students with a documented disability. Students should be working on an Associates Degree to transfer to a four-year degree program.
The program can help you build on your strengths and address your areas of concern.
TRiO is 100% federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education in the amount of $305,881 for FY14.
