Parking

You can purchase your Spring 2012 parking tag at the BHC Police Department in Building 3, Room 315.

Parking Tags and Policies

Anyone wishing to park at the Quad-Cities Campus in Lots 1, 2 or 3 is required to display a parking tag. No tag is required to park in Lot 4. Parking tags can be obtained in the BHC Police Department Office in Building 3, Room 315.

Guests may request a temporary parking permit from the BHC Police Department in Building 3, Room 315 or at 309-796-5913.  Guests may park in the designated “Visitors Parking” between Building 1 and Building 4.

  • Parking tags must be hung on the rear view mirror with the tag # facing out.
  • Students must park in student parking, designated by white stall lines on the pavement.
  • Parking on campus drives is prohibited at all times.
  • Parking on service roads or in service areas is prohibited at all times.
  • Automobiles, motorcycles and bikes may not be driven or parked on grassy areas or on campus sidewalks. (Vehicles operated by grounds maintenance personnel and/or BHC Police Department personnel are exempt from this rule)
  • Motorcycles should be parked on the concrete motorcycle pads at the ends of the parking ramps.
  • Additional visitor parking off 34th Avenue entrance to Building 1 is limited to 30-minute parking. No student, faculty or staff parking allowed.
  • An “Authorized Guest” is anyone invited to the College by Administration for a meeting. Individuals who are guests should park in the red-lined area off the 34th Avenue entrance to Building 1.
  • Vendor parking for college vendors only. No student, faculty or staff parking allowed.
  • Non-payment of fines will result in the impoundment of the violator’s vehicle. To be released from impoundment, the violator must pay all past due tickets and an impound fee.
  • All appeals must be in writing and must be initiated within seven days after the ticket is issued. An appeal form is available at the Quad-Cities Campus Police Department Office, Building 3, Room 315 or at East Campus Police Department Office, Building 3, or you may print a copy of the Parking Ticket Appeal Form. The form must be filled out and brought to the BHC Police Department Office.
  • Handicapped stalls are controlled by the State of Illinois, requiring a State issued handicapped permit. Violations of handicapped parking are strictly enforced.
