Interlibrary loan (ILL) service expands the resources available to students and faculty at Black Hawk College. We can request books and photocopies of periodical articles for no cost from any Alliance Library System member as well as any Prairie Area Library system member. Books less than 6 months from the publication date cannot be requested through ILL. ILL return dates are set by the lending library; one renewal may be requested but it is subject to the lender’s approval. Please allow at least 1 week for ILLs to arrive at East Campus.
A bar-coded Alliance Library System card is required for any patron to borrow LRC library materials or request interlibrary loans from other libraries.
