Course Reserves

There are two loan periods to choose from: 3-hour in library-use only, and 24-hour overnight. Please allow at least 24 hours for library staff to prepare the materials for lending BEFORE announcing that materials are on reserve. Schedule a Library Instruction Session for a Class

Faculty may schedule a library instruction session for students who have assignments that require research. Library sessions are most effective when scheduled after the research assignment has been introduced to students and after students have had time to develop initial research topics so that they can use those topics during the session. Please schedule these at least one week in advance. To schedule a class instruction, or learn more about how information skills can be integrated into a particular course or program, please contact the Library Coordinator, Barbara Bolser, 309-854-1731 or bolserb@bhc.edu.

You may also schedule library research time for your class without a librarian present.

New Books
View a listing of new books available at the BHC EC Library. If you would like to request a book be purchased contact Barbara Bolser, 309-854-1731 or bolserb@bhc.edu.
