Sergeant Terry Engle joined the Black Hawk College Police Department in 1985. Terry is currently assigned to day shift duties as a supervisor. Sgt. Engle is the Department’s Firearms Training Officer, Law Enforcement Agency Data System (LEADS) Coordinator and Traffic Crash Specialist Sgt. Engle is also a licensed Breath Analyzer. Sgt. Engle received his Associates in Applied Science degree from Black Hawk College in 1984. In June of 2000 Sgt. Engle was one of three members of the police department to receive the Award for Valor from the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators. Terry is also a police officer for the village of Hampton and a licensed pilot.
