Mike was hired in June of 2011 as a part time officer for the Black Hawk College Police Department. Prior to that Mike worked over 25 years for the Illinois State Police, retiring in December of 2009. He started with the state police in 1984 assigned to patrol in Springfield. In 1985 he transferred to the Division of Criminal Investigation in the East Moline office. In addition to working general investigations out of the East Moline office Mike was assigned to the Quad City MEG Unit, the Henry/Mercer County Task Force and the Black Hawk Area Task Force. Mike attended Triton College and graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelors degree in Administration of Justice.
