John Mans has been a part-time Black Hawk College Public Safety Officer since 1990. John started his career working for the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Department in 1982 as a Correctional Officer working in the jail. In 1994 he was sworn in as a Deputy Sheriff and now serves in the Patrol Division. John also served his country by being a member of the United States Army Reserves and National Guard. During his time off duty he enjoys all types of sports.
