Welcome!
The Independent Learning Center, the heart and activity center of Black Hawk College is located in the lower level of Building 1 (under the library). This area provides the following services:

• Computer labs for classroom instruction and open lab for academic related use
• Testing Room for Alternative Delivery courses, classroom make-ups, computerized testing and proctoring of tests for other institutions
• GED Registration Information and Test Administration
• Study Unlimited information, assignment drop off /pick ups, tapes and videos
• Help Desk assistance with the computers located in the area
• Friendly staff to answer any questions about services and the college as a whole.

Monday - Thursday	7:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.	8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday	7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.	8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Saturday	9 a.m. – Noon	Closed
Computer labs close 10 minutes prior to the desk

Testing Procedures

• No evening testing available the first week of each Fall and Spring semester
• Saturday testing begins with the start of Fall and Spring Weekend College
• No Saturday testing during the Summer session
• Hours apply to any secured hand written or paper involved exams
• Password-generated and computer based testing follow the ILC Desk hours above
