Literacy Is For Everyone (LIFE)
The Literacy is for Everyone (LIFE) program matches volunteer tutors with adults who need help with reading, math, spelling and writing and assists persons in developing their literacy skills up to the 9th grade academic skill level.
Qualifications You must either live in or work in Illinois
Be at least 16 years of age
Read at a 9th grade reading level or below
CostThere is no cost for qualified students.

It is being implemented by the dedicated services of Volunteers and Staff members from various collaboratives, the University of Illinois, the Moline East Moline, and Kewanee Public Library Systems,
and the Literacy and Adult Education Offices of Black Hawk College.
