Family is the key word in the BHC Family Literacy classes!
The Family Literacy program provides educational opportunities for Adults and Children Together (ACT) for family learning.

Classes
Classes are offered for families with preschool and elementary school age children. Adults can enroll in General Educational Development (GED), and English as a Second Language (ESL), or Parenting classes; children are involved with literacy-based activities; and families participate in adult/child activities with free books and fun educational activates. Call 797-7138 for more information.

Cost
Qualifying students attend classes without cost.

Class Locations
Family activityClasses may be held in a variety of locations including churches, industrial plants, schools, libraries, and housing projects. The major learning centers are located in East Moline, Rock Island, Moline, and Kewanee. Not all class levels are available at all locations. Class times and locations are subject to change and may vary. Click on Site Locations for a complete listing of locations to serve you.
