Academic Courses Available
Many courses are available in the Carlow, Ireland, study abroad site. One course, The Irish Experience, is a required course. Students may enroll in four other courses.

Housing
Housing is with Irish students in Carlow. Housing has laundry facilities, fully equipped kitchens and cable TV.

Program Fee
Approximately $5,700 a semester but variances may exist due to currency fluctuations; $250 Black Hawk College study abroad fee.

Payment Plan
The program fee will be paid prior to departure in three payments.

Included in the Program Fee
International tuition; fees, double-room occupancy; field trips, library access; orientation; health and accident insurance

Not Included in Program Fee
Round-trip airfare; textbooks ($100); meals and incidentals ($150 a week); bus tickets ($46); personal costs, land transportation ($100); and computer lab fee ($52); passport fees; all costs are estimated and may change due to currency exchange rates.

Comment
The study abroad program in Carlow, Ireland, is an excellent program for students planning to complete a four-year degree. A foreign language is not required prior to enrollment. Many students have enrolled in this program finding the "Irish experience" an absolutely beautiful choice.
