Agriculture

Studies in Agriculture are divided into three areas; Transfer, Ag Business and Ag Production, with degrees offered in each. The curriculum and schedule of these three areas are designed to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
If you are planning on transferring to a University, the
Ag transfer area, which includes Ag classes as well as general education courses, will help you meet the class requirements for the initial two years of a Bachelor Degree. Students often discover that the smaller classrooms and more student/teacher interaction found at BHE, make for a smoother transition into college life. Students that plan on obtaining a two year degree and entering the Ag industry immediately following college, often enter either the
Ag Production or
Ag Business programs. These two areas focus on traditional classroom and lab settings, coupled with internships in the agriculture industry.
Regardless of you personal goals in agriculture, Black Hawk East has the potential to build a strong foundation for endless job opportunities.
