Are you planning to take summer classes and then transfer the courses back to your college or university in the fall? Follow the steps below to register successfully at BHC and ensure the course you take will meet a requirement at your school:
Complete the application for admission: http://www.bhc.edu/index.asp?NID=651 Please allow 48 hours for processing once your application has been submitted.
Talk to your Advisor to determine the class you may take at BHC to meet the requirement at your school. It is always best to get confirmation in writing from an Advisor or Admissions Representative that the course you take here will transfer to your school and meet a specific requirement.
If the course you’d like to take has a prerequisite, make certain you’ve met the prerequisite. If you met the prerequisite at BHC, you should be able to register online- see step 5. If you’ve met the prerequisite elsewhere, you’ll need to access your transcript through your school’s online system and attach that to an email addressed to BHC Advisors. Be sure to include the course you’d like to register for, your first name, middle initial, last name and phone number in your email. You may also fax an unofficial copy of your transcript (be sure to include same information for an email) to (309) 796-5139.
An Advisor will then review your transcript and contact you via email or phone and let you know if you’ve in fact met the prerequisite. If you have met the prerequisite, the Advisor will perform an override so you may register online.
