Welcome to the Finance Department.
Black Hawk College is part of the Community College System established by the state of Illinois. Business is subject the rules and regulations as stated in the Illinois Community College Board Fiscal Management Manual.
The goal of this department is to promote and maintain fiscal responsibility throughout the College organization. The Department includes General Accounting, Budget, Accounts Payable, Asset Control, Insurance, and Purchasing. This is the office that pays the bills, compiles the annual budget, and prepares the audited financial report. Timeliness and accuracy are of paramount importance. If you have questions about doing business with the college, this department will assist you with vendor information, certificates of insurance, and bid information.
