Requirements for Admission Business & Community Education Center courses are designed primarily to serve part-time post high school students regardless of their previous formal education. Any person 16 years of age or over who is not regularly enrolled as a full-time public school student is eligible to enroll.
Admission Procedure There are no specific admission requirements for Business & Community Education courses except interest in the subject area. If a sufficient number of students enroll in a particular subject to constitute a minimum class enrollment, that class can be started at any time during the year.
Admission of Special Students
High School Credit. A student may take Business & Community Education courses for high school credit with permission from the high school. The student must secure a statement approving a specific course(s) from the principal of the high school. Upon successful completion of the course, the student’s grade will be sent from the Business & Community Education office to the high school.
Students should seek assistance from a high school counselor in their planning. The division of Business & Community Education cannot tell students which courses will be accepted for credit by the high school.
Financial Information
Payment of Tuition and Fees. All tuition and fees are due and payable at the time of registration.

(Note: All other fees and the costs of books are not covered by this waiver.)
Individuals wishing to take advantage of this benefit must sign a form called Certification of Retirement Status for Waiver of Tuition Fees. This formality can normally be handled at the time of registration. This waiver applies to the Business & Community Education tuition fee courses. Note: All other fees and the cost of the books are not covered by this waiver.
