Build your skills and knowledge for your personal use or for those who are in a small business. You will be covering: assets, liabilities, and capital, credits and debits, posting transactions, depreciation, journals and ledgers, inventory and creating reports. The class is held in the computer lab in order to take advantage of the hands’ on exercises. Required textbook, Accounting Fundamentals ISBN?0073183518 , may be purchased online or at the BHC Bookstore.

Continuation of Basic Floral Design Expand your skills as your own floral designer or prepare for an entry level career in the floral industry. Learn about color, balance, proportion, shapes, designs and scale of floral design. Bring a pair of flower clippers and let’s start designing. Fee includes $100 materials fee.

Do you need to improve your math skills? Whether for your job, the math sections of an apprenticeship test or the Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), our individualized instruction provides an opportunity to build on strengths and fill in learning gaps. Content areas include: fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios and proportions, basic algebra, and basic geometry. Handouts provided.

Writing and Grammar Skills Made Easy

Develop and improve your basic English communication skills in business settings. A strong emphasis will be placed on written and oral communication including correct use of grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, composition of business correspondence and verbal presentation.
