Mike Coyne-Logan, a member of the Living Lands and Water crew for more than six years, will share his stories at a free afternoon program Tuesday, April 29 at the Quad-Cities Campus, Building 1, Room 306 (theatre).
Mike’s one-hour presentation will include an overview of the history and mission of Living Lands and Waters and the importance of rivers and clean water.
Mike graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2000 with a degree in history and teaching. Before joining the crew in July 2007, he worked as a teacher in Rock Island, Ill. Mike has been doing volunteer work with Living Lands and Waters since 2005 which lead to his decision to finally come on board.
Although this is a free program, you must preregister. A reception will follow the presentation.
This event is sponsored by Black Hawk College, the Illinois Recycling Association, Midas and Molyneaux Insurance + Risk Solutions.
