Small Business Development

The Illinois Small Business Development Center (IL SBDC) was established in March 1985 to help entrepreneurs start a new business or expand existing business.

We offer the Small Business Certificate Program or you may opt to take individual courses. We also offer one-on-one confidential counseling for all phases of business activities.
All SBA programs are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis.

This free service offers counseling on the following topics:

  • Business Plan Development
  • Financial Loan Packaging
  • Sources of Financing
  • Financial Projections
  • Educational and Training for Existing Businesses
  • Educational and Training for New Businesses
