Black Hawk College offers many training opportunities for companies, businesses, small business owners, and prospective business owners.
For Business
The Business Training Center (BTC) works with companies to create customized training solutions. For business convenience, employers may choose to conduct training at their workplace or at a college location. Training topics include but are not limited to computer, leadership/supervisory, industrial, Health and Safety/OSHA, ISO, Lean, welding, weld testing and more.
The Illinois Small Business Development Center (IL SBDC) offers The Small Business Certificate Program that is designed for use by the small business owner or prospective business owner. IL SBDC also offers one-on-one confidential counseling for all phases of business activities.
The International Trade Center (ITC) offers workshops and counseling to assist local businesses to develop contacts and working relationships with international markets.
The Illinois Procurement Technical Assistance Center (IL PTAC) provides you with advocacy and counseling to help your businesses through the complicated and difficult intricacies of obtaining federal, state and local government contracts.
Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE) provides public programs and classes for the workforce in the areas of computer training, global languages, industrial/OSHA, professional certifications, project management, food service sanitation, and much more.
