The Family Literacy program provides educational opportunities for Parents and Children Together (PACT) for family learning.
Family Literacy classes provide Adult Basic, GED, or English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction to qualifying parents while providing instruction for children and parent/child activities. Classes are offered for families with preschool and elementary school age children. In our Family Literacy Program, families and children enjoy literacy-based activities with free books and fun educational activates.
Classes are offered at various locations and times. Call 309-796-5702 for details. Qualifying students attend classes without cost.
Classes may be held in a variety of locations including churches, industrial plants, schools, libraries, and housing projects. The major learning centers are located in Rock Island and Moline. Not all class levels are available at all locations. Class times and locations are subject to change and may vary.
