Digital Divas Go Green
Are you interested in exploring Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) all while having fun?
We have an opportunity for you!
Date: June 11-13
Description: Road trip! On Thursday, June 13, we’re heading to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago! Visit their website to learn more at www.msichicago.org. Learn about STEM through hands-on workshops! Explore STEM career opportunities, where females are underrepresented.
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Bus will depart Black Hawk College at 7 a.m. and return by 7 p.m.)
Cost: $50 includes a T-shirt, supplies and lunch.
(A limited number of $25 scholarships are available for applicants with a financial need.)
The registration deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 29.
Space is limited to current 8th-12th grade girls.
Digital Divas Go Green is coordinated with the help of the University of Illinois Extension and QCCTEC. This event is 100% funded through the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006. This publication was funded by the Black Hawk College Career Services Center.
