
Black Hawk College’s Dual Credit, Dual Enrollment and Articulated Credit programs give high students a chance to earn college credit while they are still in high school.
Literacy programs are available for families and children.
Optional Education allows students to earn high school credits leading to a diploma or prepare for GED testing. Several other support services and programs are also available for high school aged students, including the youth GED.

Our youth camps and classes are designed to inspire youth to learn more about technology, the arts and the outdoors.
Our swim school classes for youth are conducted following the American Red Cross Learn to swim progression at the Black Hawk College Community Aquatic Center located on the Quad-Cities Campus. We place an emphasis on safety, fun and individual success.
The summer College for Kids program provides gifted students with experiences significantly different from their ordinary school activities.
Young women can explore career possibilities as they participate in hands-on activities in science, engineering and technology in Digital Divas summer technology camp for girls.
