Quad-Cities Campus Orientations
Welcome to the Black Hawk College Quad-Cities Campus! The orientation process assists you in learning more about success strategies, services available to students, college terminology and vocabulary, locations and resources on campus.
Smart Start Orientations
- Thursday, Jan. 12 from 6:00-8:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Jan. 14 from 9:00-11:30 a.m.
All orientation sessions start in Building 4, Hawk’s Nest (second floor).
Smart Start Orientations are group orientation sessions that meet in August and January, prior to the fall and spring semesters.
Mini Orientation
A Mini Orientation is a campus tour lead by one of the BHC Student Ambassadors. To schedule a tour of the campus, contact the BHC Welcome Center at 309-796-5000.
Self-Guided Orientation Tour
Visit the BHC Quad-Cities Campus and take a self-guided tour of the various buildings and facilities. Self-guided tours start in Building 1. Programs are available at the Welcome Center or may be viewed and printed by clicking here: Self Guided Campus Tour.
East Campus Orientations
Welcome to the Black Hawk College East Campus! Orientation topics cover myBlackHawk, Black Hawk College ID & Money Card, student services and academic success. Benefits of attending an orientation session include a self-directed campus tours, student id photos, book purchases from bookstore, and meet and greet with SGA officers (current students).
