Conditions for a receiving Federal Direct Loan at Black Hawk College:
- I understand I must complete the Loan Entrance Counseling and the MPN (Master Promissory Note) at http://studentloans.gov.
- I understand that this is a loan. Repayment is required after I graduate, stop attending, or are enrolled in less than 6 credit hours.
- I understand that I can cancel all or part of my loan, with written notification to the Financial Aid Office.
- I understand that I must be making satisfactory academic progress in my course of study at Black Hawk College.
- I must be enrolled in at least half time (6 credit hours) to receive my loan.
- I must complete a Budget Sheet to receive loan funds.
