Instructor Denies Access
If you get an error message that says “Your access to this course has been denied,” it is most likely that your instructor has denied you access because the course is not ready to start or the course has ended and is no longer available. Your instructor may also deny you access due to a course policy. To request access, please contact your instructor.

- If when you click on the course title in MyCourses, “Course Homepage” opens instead of Blackboard, it might be that the instructor has not switched from Luminis Platform to Blackboard yet or is not planning to use Blackboard for your class. Check with your instructor.
- If Blackboard does open but you do not see course content or tools, the instructor most likely has not yet made content available for you to see. Blackboard courses are generally not available until the official start date of the course. Contact your instructor.
