What is online learning and am I ready to take online courses?
“Online Learning” generally refers to learning via the Internet. You can learn informally by searching the Internet for specific information, such as how to fix a leaky faucet. You can also learn online to earn college credit. At the college level, some online courses are entirely online, while others are a mix of face-to-face classes and online learning activities. Many online classes may also require one or more proctored exams, which means you come to a BHC campus or arrange an approved proctored site near your home.
Entirely online courses are convenient because they allow you to pursue your education without having to attend a class at a particular time and place. Flexible scheduling is probably the most appealing aspect of online learning, but several other factors can affect your ability to be successful at online learning, as well. Try our quick and easy self-assessments to find out if you are ready!
