Traci’s Bio
Traci Davis, Psy.D. teaches Psychology in the SBES department. She teaches classes such as Introduction to Psychology, Human Growth and Development, Abnormal Psychology, and Understanding Human Sexuality. In her spare time she adores reading all different kinds of books, pretending to run 5K races and giving back to the community. Please contact her if you have any questions, or any fun answers.

Jodi’s Bio
Jodi Becker, M.S.Ed., is an instructor in the Child Development program. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Prior to joining Black Hawk College, Jodi worked as a preschool teacher and director. She also provided trainings for child care providers and has presented at several local early childhood conferences. Jodi teaches Introduction to Early Childhood Education, Growth and Development of the Young Child, Child Development Practicum 1 & 2, Observation, Guidance, and Assessment of Young Children, Child Care/Early Childhood Administration, Infant-Toddler Curriculum, Infant-Toddler Development, and Health, Safety, and Nutrition.

Krisann’s Bio
Krisann Bergo-Brown is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Black Hawk College, where she has been teaching since 2006. She received her bachelor’s degree with a double major in English and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Kansas. Professor Bergo-Brown has a special interest in Gender and Social Problems. She is also an advisor for the League of Social Sciences on BHC Campus.

Sarah Morrison is an Instructor of Sociology at Black Hawk College, where she has been teaching since 2013. She is actively involved in the campus community, serving as a delegate to the 2013 Illinois Federation of Teachers’ State Convention and the American Federation of Teachers’ 2014 National Convention. She is a member of the United Way Campaign at BHC. She also serves as an advisor to the League of Social Scientists. Prior to moving to the Quad Cities, Sarah spent several years teaching in southern Illinois at SIUE and Lindenwood University- Belleville. She also taught several courses in sociology in the St. Louis area (Go Cardinals!) at Lindenwood University- St. Charles and St. Charles Community College.

Sarah started her college career at Lincoln Land Community College before transferring to Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, with a minor in Sociology. She completed some graduate work in Public Administration and Policy Analysis before earning her Master’s Degree in Sociology from SIUE. Sarah has focused much of her research on framing, social movements, social activism, and education.
