Private Lessons

Our music department offers private lessons in most of the performing mediums. Our emphasis, however, is in the areas of voice, piano, brass, jazz and classical guitar, percussion, organ and woodwinds. Two full-time and several adjunct music faculty assist in specialized areas of instruction and performance so that we can accommodate your needs. Lessons are available from 1 to 3 credits with each credit corresponding to a 25- to 30-minute lesson each week. Please note that because of the personalized, one-on-one instruction, there is a lab fee of $150 per credit hour of instruction.

Procedure: Mr. Palomaki assigns all students to instructors one to two weeks prior to classes beginning. Students are then contacted by their instructors anytime from a week before classes start through the first week of class to set up a specific lesson time and location to meet.
