Admission to Associate Degree Nursing Program
- Students wanting to be considered for the Associate Degree Nursing Program need to complete a nursing application. See below for application dates.
- To request transcripts Black Hawk College has received from other colleges Nursing Transcript Request.
- Take the TEAS Test at the Independent Learning Center (ILC) at either the Quad-Cities Campus or East Campus.
- Admission into the Associate Degree Nursing Program is highly competitive. Not all eligible candidates will be able to be admitted regardless of the date of submission of their application.
- Attend a nursing informational meeting (see below).
Students interested in applying for the Black Hawk College Associate Degree Nursing program for Fall 2012 are required to attend a Nursing Informational Meeting. Five meetings are scheduled Feb. 1-29:
- Wednesday, Feb. 1 from noon to 2 p.m. — QC Campus Building 2, Room 114A; East Campus Building A, Room 123
- Tuesday, Feb. 7 from 9-11 a.m. — QC Campus Building 2, Room 115; East Campus Building A, Room 123
- Friday, Feb. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — QC Campus Building 2, Room 101; East Campus Building A, Room 123
- Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 1-3 p.m. — QC Campus Building 2, Room 115; East Campus Building A, Room 123
- Wednesday, Feb. 29 from 6-8 p.m. — QC Campus Building 2, Room 101; East Campus Building A, Room 123
Applications for Fall 2012 will be available online Wednesday, Feb. 1 at www.bhc.edu/nursing. Priority applications will be accepted through Wednesday, Feb. 15. Applications must be completed and returned by Wednesday, Feb. 29.
