The Agriculture Department at the East Campus includes five major areas of study — Agriculture Sciences, Automotive Technology, Business Education and Business Administration, Equine Sciences and Horticulture. The programs offered through the department place a strong emphasis on education for employment. On-the-job training gives students the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the work world. Another strong component of the curricula is the development of the leadership and teamwork skills required of a successful employee.
