Employee Salary & Benefits

Last updated 3/22/2011

Black Hawk College serves Illinois Community College District 503 including all or part of nine counties in western Illinois. The college offers more than 118 career programs and more than 40 transfer programs with annual enrollment of more than 12,000 credit students and nearly 6,000 continuing education and workforce training students. The college competes with private and public colleges and universities and Fortune 500 businesses for the most talented employees in the area. We conduct salary surveys on a regular basis to make sure compensation is competitive and fair to our employees, students and the citizens of our district.

Public Act 096-0266 requires the board of trustees of the 48 Illinois community colleges to report on or before July 1 of each year the base salary and benefits of the president or chief executive officer and all administrators, faculty members, and instructors employed by the college.
