Black Hawk College celebrated the accomplishments of more than 50 students June 11, 2015, at the annual GED® and High School Graduation Celebration.

The event recognized Adult Education and Optional Education students from across the college district who completed all GED® or high school graduation requirements during the 2014-15 school year.

Approximately 20 students earned their GED® and 34 high school students who attended the BHC Optional Education program earned their diplomas from their home high schools.

A new session of High School Equivalency and Optional Education high school credit classes provided by Black Hawk College begins in August. Most classes start Wednesday, Aug. 12.

Classes are available at no cost to the student. Call or visit one of the Black Hawk College learning sites listed below for more information.
