BHC 5K Hustle raises $9,500 for scholarships

BHC Foundation 5K Hustle donation 2-2015 (web)The 2014 Black Hawk College 5K Hustle raised $9,500 to provide scholarships for students in the BHC Physical Therapist Assistant Program.

Since 2012, the race has raised $22,500. Four $500 scholarships were awarded for Spring 2015. For Summer 2015, Fall 2015 and Spring 2016, a total of 14 $500 scholarships will be awarded.

The annual road race was Nov. 8 at the college’s Quad-Cities Campus in Moline. Approximately 250 runners and walkers registered for the event.
