Fox, Pitchford honored as emerging women leaders

Black Hawk College recently honored two Quad-Cities Campus students as emerging women leaders at the Women’s Connection “Women in Leadership” event.

Student Government Association officers Kylee Fox of Rock Island (left) and Rachel Pitchford of Rock Island  (right) were nominated by Tiffany Hamilton, coordinator of student engagement.

“Rachel’s and Kylee’s leadership and organizational skills have been invaluable to the Student Government Association,” Hamilton wrote. “As their advisor, I have seen many examples of their talent and have long been impressed by their diligence and work ethic.”

The purpose of the Women’s Connection’s Emerging Women Leaders Recognition Program is to honor regional female collegiate students who exhibit exceptional leadership initiative.
