BHC students pledge to complete their education

More than 100 Quad-Cities Campus students pledged Nov. 26 to complete their certificate or degree before leaving school to transfer or enter the job market.

Statistics show the surest way for anyone to land a job in their chosen field is to finish college and earn a degree or certificate.

Students signed the completion pledge for themselves while others signed the pledge to show their support for students.

The event was hosted by the Quad-Cities Campus chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Phi Theta Kappa members are serving as the student arm of the Community College Completion Corps (also called C4), a national education initiative.
